My passion

Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia and the breaking tides of the Atlantic Ocean

Nova Scotia's natural beauty swept me off my feet when I made my first visit here in 1969. Every year afterwards I kept returning here, until 2004, when my husband Michael and I, accompanied by our then 13-year-old dachshund "Samson", moved here permanently and settled in the picturesque rural Avon Peninsula.

Here with rolling hills, and the Avon, Kennetcook and St Croix rivers, we can watch the highest tides in the world, walk in century-old woods, look for fossils on the rivers and Minas Basin shores, and do cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter time.

The landscape and nature of Nova Scotia inspires me and I am mesmerized by its blend of colours, its moods and dramatic lighting. All are constantly changing, and are never the same.

In these difficult times, where at the stroke of a pen, all can be lost forever, I would like to share this treasure with you and through my photographs I am saying "it is fortunate that we can enjoy this and that we are obliged to preserve it for the future."

For your home

The cards and photos make excellent gifts. These photos are very popular with both visitors to the Province, as well as local residents.

Closeup of garlic in bloom.MY CARDS are printed on Kodak paper and mounted on acid-free card paper. The photos are 10 cm x 15 cm and finished in gloss; the paper is either white or cream colour. They are shipped in protective plastic to ensure that they arrive in your mailbox in excellent condition. The cards are left blank on the inside so that you can add your own special message.

MY PHOTOS are suitable for framing in both home and office environments. Framed photographs can also be made available. The photos are printed on Kodak paper with matte finish. The sizes are 20 cm x 25 cm and can have a single cut white mount around them.

These calendars offer a year-long reminder of your trip to Nova Scotia.

2009 sees my new product range: single-page wall-mount calendars. These are suitable for hanging directly on your wall, or framing. They are 28 cm x 43 cm and are printed on white card paper.

All of the above mentioned formats are also available for corporate customers. Certain images are available for branding with your corporate promotion message and under license agreements.
